Our practice also provides careful long
term patient follow-up diagnostic and treatment services when
indicated, including patients with a history of:
-
Chronic oral inflammatory diseases
(e.g. recurrent oral ulceration, lichen planus, vesiculobullous
disorders).
-
Recurrent oral infection.
-
Premalignant disease.
-
Oral cancer.
-
Jaw cysts and tumors with significant
potential for recurrence.
We place patients on prospective
structured schedules for follow-up evaluation to assure detection of
recurrent disease, with patient status reports periodically forwarded
to the referring health care provider.
All photographic and radiographic
records documenting patient examination are maintained. We assure that
therapeutic intervention promptly occurs.
Selection of treatment specialists are
made in consultation with the referring health care provider.
Accurate and timely diagnosis and
treatment of oral lesions and diseases are of vital importance in
enabling the provision of optimum patient care. Our services in
clinical oral and maxillofacial pathology are designed to help you
meet this goal.
As an oral health care professional, you
understand that TIME is your most scarce and valuable asset. Diagnosis
and treatment of oral lesions, while critically important to proper
patient care, can be a highly specialized and time consuming process.
Working with Dr. Gould and his team helps you maximize the
productivity of your practice while ensuring the highest quality in
patient diagnosis, treatment and follow-up. |
